the Digital Libraries
Digital Libraries
ACM Digital Library
[Fulltext]
Bibliographic information, abstracts, reviews, and the full-text for articles published in ACM periodicals and proceedings
since 1985 are available in the ACM Digital Library. While full-text is available for most articles, full-text is not yet available
for every proceeding article published before 1991. The ACM Digital Library includes:
§ Full-text articles from ACM journals, magazines, and conference proceedings
§ TOCs from articles published in ACM journals and magazines from 1985 forward
§ TOCs from articles published in over 700 volumes of conference proceedings since 1985.

The data cover the period between 1997 to recent years and are
presented scanned, as they appear in the four most important
newspapers of the daily Greek financial press: Imerisia, Naftemporiki,
Kerdos, and Express.

CITESeer
(ResearchIndex)
The Scientific Literature Digital Library, is a freely available
fulltext database of computer science articles on the Web. CITESeer
provides algorithms, techniques, and software that can be used in other

Financial Directory [Reference]
The ICAP annual Financial Directory is
the most valid symbol, the rapidest and safest means of access to
business information.
Inside the ICAP Greek Financial Directory you will find
financial and commercial information on more than 20,000 enterprises,
which constitute the Greek financial reality, including A.S.E.
Companies, Mass Media, Hotels and Tourist Enterprises. As a user, you
can access a detailed profile of each company ranging from the
official identity to summaries of financial data from the last two
balance sheets.
The
section “Greece in Figures”, accurately presents a general
overview of the national economy via statistical data.
IEEE Digital Library [Fulltext]
The IEEE Digital Library includes access to:

Search functions
Basic Search: guides you through the process of creating a search query. You can enter a single keyword, or create a
more advanced query without knowing search syntax by selecting field codes and search operators from pull-down menus.
Advanced Search: allows you to enter a free-form search query. You can enter a single keyword, a phrase, or a complete
search query using search syntax.
Author Search: allows you to enter a complete or
partial name and searches the author field in each citation record for your entry.
Conference Proceedings
Search: allows you to enter title words to
retrieve related citations.
PsycARTICLES
Search [Fulltext]
A definitive source of searchable
fulltext articles on current issues in psycholgoy. The PsyARTICLES
database covers general and specialized, basic, applied, clinical and
theoretical research om psychology. The database contains more than
25,000 searchable fulltext articles from 40 journals published by the
APA and 9 from allied organizations. It contains all journals,
articles, letters to the editor and errata from each of the 49
journals. Coverage spans from 1988 to the present.
PsycEXTRA [Fulltext]
A
companion to the scholarly PsycINFO database, supplies clinicians,
information professionals, policy-makers, researchers, and consumers with
a wide variety of credible information in psychology, behavioral science,
and health. Most of the coverage is material written for professionals and
disseminated outside of peer-reviewed journals. PsycEXTRA
is different from PsycINFO in its coverage, and also in its format,
because it includes abstracts and citations plus full text for a major
portion of the records. There is no overlap with PsycINFO.
PsycINFO: Psychological Abstracts [Bibliographic]
Produced by the American Psychological Association (APA), PsycINFO covers literature that is relevant to
psychology. In addition to "core" psychology topics such as personality or mental health,
it contains abstracts on
behavioral topics from related disciplines. You can find references about health care, education, business, organizational
behavior, consumer behavior, criminal justice, artificial intelligence, and many more. PsycINFO is updated monthly.

How to access the Digital Libraries
Access
Digital libraries can be accessed either from Computers
Workstations or remotely.. Prior booking, is
required, either by approaching the Library Issue Desk or by making a telephone
reservation.
Search Results
You can print, download or save the search results. All documents included in the digital
libraries are available in full-text and PDF format. If for any reason
only the absract of an article is available, you may use the Interlibrary
Loan Services to obtain the fulltext of the material.
