The Book Collection

The Book Collection consists of three sub-sections :

The Main Collection (MNC)
The Main Collection is shelved on both floors of the Library and contains all standard loan, new acquisitions, and reference books. Material included in the Main Collection may be borrowed, reserved, renewed or recalled, if on loan.

The Reserve Collection (RSC)
The Reserve Collection contains: main textbooks and references included in Reading Lists and study packs which include, photocopies of periodical articles and chapters from books; lecture notes and solutions to problems. Material included in the Reserve Collection is not available for loan.

The Short Loan Collection (SLC)
The SLC contains books-in-demand and offprints for course reading, projects and assignments. Material included in this collection is available for loan, for a short period of time, mainly during the weekends. Strict fines are imposed for late return.
