The Library's photocopying services are offered in accordance with the provisions of the Greek Copyright Law. Explanatory notices are displayed at the Photocopying Room.  Each user personally, has to comply with the copyright law. Should library staff notice a user photocopying a whole book, or photocopying an unreasonable amount from a volume or journal issue, they can enquire about the extent of photocopying. 

Facilities

A self-service black and white machine is located in the Photocopying Room available for student and staff use. 

Overhead transparencies (OHPs)

The photocopy machine can copy onto transparencies for use with overhead projectors, but you may use only sheets bought from the Library. These are available from the Library Issue Desk for 20 cents a sheet. Do not use any that have been obtained elsewhere, even if you have been told they are heat-resistant, as you could cause very expensive damage to the machine. 

Copy sizes

Displayed on the photocopy machine are details of copy sizes that machine provides from the following range:

§ A4 size-for-size copies 
§ A3 size-for-size copies 
§ A4 to A3 enlargement 
§ A3 to A4 reduction 

Costs and payment methods

The photocopy machine works with a counter, available at the Library Issue Desk. All photocopies are paid in cash. The cost is:

§ A4 = 0.03 cents each photocopy
§ A3 = 0.04 cents each photocopy
