- What is this symposium about?
- The 5 th International Student Spring Symposium on the Internet and Web Technologies (S3IWT06) will create a series of presentations that will demonstrate and explain
the usage of several technologies used on the Web, and that will initiate discussions on
several contemporary issues regarding information technology.
- Do I have to participate?
- Yes! Generally, participation in symposiums / conferences is a "must"
for people who want to share ideas, knowledge, and create new friendships.
Moreover, it is a perfect
chance, especially for students, to enhance their Curriculum Vitae (C.V.). Regarding the latter, certificates
will be awarded to registered participants. Hence, register for your certificate! ;-)

- Registration is FREE.

- Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

- What do I have to submit?
- The symposium consists of two parts. The first part is concerned with theoretical presentations and participants
are welcome to submit an extended abstract of 2-4 pages, a list of key words or topics and
a skeleton of the presentation.
The second part concerns technical tutorials and participants are welcome to submit a
100 word description of the tutorial, including learning objectives, outcomes, and a brief
lesson plan. ALL submissions must be send to the secretariat of the symposium
s3iwt06@city.academic.gr for review.
Notification of acceptance: May 18, 2005.

- Paper and Tutorial submission date: May 15, 2005.
- When and Where the symposium will take place?
- The symposium will be take place on May 27, 2005 at the Rodoula Kehagia Auditorium, City Liberal Studies, Affiliated
Institution of the University of Sheffield, Kalapothaki Str. Thessaloniki, Greece.
