Congratulations once again on becoming a member of the CITY-Sheffield community! We are sure that you will be completely satisfied with the choice you have made. It will be more than an experience to study and live in Thessaloniki.

The International Students Guide has been created to assist you in preparing for coming to Thessaloniki as well as to facilitate your stay in Greece. It contains a lot of detailed and useful information from everyday life that we considered necessary to gather and introduce to you. Thus, you will get an idea of what to expect upon arrival at CITY but also about your experience during your studies.

The International Students Guide consists of three major parts: Coming to CITY; an A-Z Guide to Living in Thessaloniki; and Essential Reading. Make sure that, before coming, you read this booklet so that you will arrive at college prepared and you will adjust to your new life experience much more easily. 

We would like you to have the best possible experience with CITY and though we have gathered a lot of information and sources to facilitate your adaptation to this new step in your life. For anything you are not very clear about, or if you do not find the answer to your questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be glad to assist you and help you to settle down and feel at home in Thessaloniki. The International & Student Services Office is here to give you advice and guidance during your stay. You will find contacts in the section in this booklet entitled Essential Reading.
