An independent management consultant, Mike has also worked in Higher Education teaching Strategic Management and Operations Management to MBA students in Business Schools. He works with clients ranging from small businesses to multinational companies on assignments from market research to business planning and management development.During the past three years he has worked in Azerbaijan on an EU project to develop SME’s and spent three months in China as Director of Continuing Education at Beijing International University, setting up both consultancy and short course programmes. More recently he spent three weeks in Uzbekistan delivering a programme on Strategic Marketing at the Tashkent State Technical University. He was also Associate Director of Material Development for CESaME Ltd which ran an EU Leonardo da Vinci funded project to improve the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through a network of Local Business Coaches using e-mail and a specially tailored intranet database which he had been developing. He is currently working with a group of consultants who have developed a pilot programme to improve the capability of SME's through the creation of a 'toolkit' to help them diagnose their business and people development needs and take appropriate actions.
