Mr. Butcher has 30 years experience in IT & information systems development and holds the post of Principal Lecture in Information Strategy at Sheffield Hallam University, UK where he leads an academic subject group of 25 staff teaching Business Operations and Information Systems. He is also Visiting Faculty in Information Strategy, E-Business and Business Intelligence at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France. In addition to postgraduate teaching, Mr. Butcher develops and delivers in-company training courses and is an IS and Information Management strategy consultant to large and small organisations. Current projects involve technology transfer from the UK universities into SME companies in the UK Mr. Butcher has previously worked for British Aerospace, Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank, Ford Motor Company, IBM and IS consulting companies. He has undertaken projects in the Far and Middle East, Moscow, Moldova and in Europe.
