Industrial Liasons

The Industrial Liaison Office's primary aim is to create strong relationships between the academic and the industrial community in order to gain long-term benefits for both parties.

The Industrial Liaison Office:

·         Seeks to bridge the gap between the industry and the academic community by creating research-based and educational collaborations and facilitating technology transfer and innovation.

·         Helps in locating research and dissertation topics from the business environment in order to assign them to the students and, thus, expose them to issues arising from real-world projects in an industrial setting.

·         By keeping close contact with the business environment, the Office keeps up with the changes in the job market and, thus, allows CITY to adapt and develop its programmes accordingly.

·         Organises company visits for students, in order to gather information about the company’s activities, products and clients as well as the industry in general.

Among the companies we have visited are: Kleemann, Babatzimopoulos Winery, Helexpo, Coca Cola - 3E SA, Miltos Patisserie, Vodafone, Infoquest, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Psychiatric Clinic “Agia Fotini” – Larisa, Mevgal, Amstel (Athenian Brewery SA), Sani Beach Hotel, Egnatia Bank, Boutaris and Lyberis Pies.
