Admission Requirements
 

Applicants should submit details of their qualification experience to CITY. The Academic Committee of the Department at CITY will then consider the applications. If the application is successful, it is then forwarded to the relevant Department at the University of Sheffield, where the final decision regarding the applicant's acceptance is made. Successful applicants are notified of their acceptance to the programme in a formal letter issued directly by the University of Sheffield.
The University of Sheffield strictly limits the number of places in each programme. Applications are considered in priority order, according to the date of their submission. After the completion of the prescribed quota of places, no applications are accepted. 

Who Can Apply

The programme is designed for business executives with notable experience in the field of Business Administration, such as personnel administration, marketing, sales, production management and financial administration. 

The programme may be attended by executives of companies and organisations who have acquired a Bachelor's degree from any discipline, i.e. economics, engineering, maths, law, pharmaceuticals.  

In addition, executives without a Bachelor's Degree, but with substantial experience in a high level administrative post, may also attend this programme. 

English Language Qualifications

Candidates that have completed their higher secondary school education and/or their undergraduate studies through the medium of English are not required to present an English Language Qualification.

Candidates who have obtained a formal and internationally recognised qualification e.g. TOEFL (paper based 575/computer based 232), IELTS (6,5), Cambridge/Michigan Proficiency or equivalent, should present this certificate.

In the event that the candidates has neither of the above, the English level will be tested internally through a placement test.
