2011 Executive MBA ‘Vassilopita Cutting’ in Thessaloniki, Belgrade, Bucharest and Kyiv

The 2011 Vassilopita cutting of our Executive MBA took place on 16th and 23rd January 2011 in Thessaloniki and Belgrade respectively.

MBA ‘Vassilopita Cutting’ in Thessaloniki

In Thessaloniki, Mr. George Efstathiadis, Director of EXED, Dr. Leslie Szamosi, Academic Director of EMBA and Ms. Heleni Malliadou, Executive MBA Course Administrator, as well as Professor Dominique Elliot and Professor Kim Cassidy who were modules leaders on that weekend, celebrated with EMBA students from cohorts 17 and 18 the traditional ‘Vassilopita cutting’ and exchanged new year’s wishes in a warm atmosphere. The lucky ones for this year were four students who won the coin.

In Belgrade the festive gathering was held in the presence of Dr. Szamosi, Dr. Nikolaidis and Mr. Liassides. Module leaders and administration staff members celebrated with the students and carried out the procedure of ‘Vassilopita cutting’.

Finally, the MBA Vassilopita cutting also took in Bucharest and Kyiv with great success, 29-30 January 2011.
