Launching our Executive MBA programme in Kyiv
Building on the distinguished Sheffield Executive MBA programme, CITY College, the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield and our partner institution, Kyiv Business School, launched EMBA in Kyiv, Ukraine with the Induction that took place 18-19 November 2010.

The event took place at the House of Pashkov, the training Center where classes will be taking place.
The students were welcomed by representatives from CITY College and KBS who presented a short introduction of the programme and guidelines to be followed throughout their studies.
The Executive MBA in Kyiv brought together a group of high-profile participants coming from a variety of industries like banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, business consulting, construction, media and other.
The induction was followed by the first unit of the first MBA cycle of lectures, the Organizational Behavior Unit.

The Academic Director of the programme Dr Leslie Szamosi spoke with great enthusiasm about the Induction in Kyiv and the students he met there: “We were very impressed with the enthusiasm, professionalism and thirst for knowledge of the MBA students in Kiev. They expressed well informed opinions and demonstrated through their participation throughout the weekend that they are they to learn, improve their functional and soft business skills and that they want to challenge their current thinking. Overall, an excellent beginning to an important life changing experience has begun!”
Students were left with best impressions from the first unit of the programme and spoke with appreciation for the opportunity that CITY College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield provides managers from Ukraine with: to study for the University of Sheffield Executive MBA degree in their country.
