MBA Induction in Thessaloniki
The Induction in Thessaloniki that took place 17-18 October 2010 marked the beginning of another academic year for the Executive MBA.

Induction is designed to give participants all the information they need in order to prepare for the Executive MBA programme. During the 2-day induction in Thessaloniki EMBA students had the opportunity to meet with their fellow-students, members of the faculty and CITY College overall. Mr. George Efstathiadis, Director EXED and MBA
Programme addressed a warming welcome and was followed by Dr. Leslie Szamosi, Academic Director of the Executive MBA who presented the programme and its academic aspects.

EMBA alumna, Ms Ana Stojkova, Director for the Promotion of Investments to Macedonia from Bulgaria and Serbia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of FYROM,was the guest speaker in Thessaloniki. Ms. Stojkova, who graduated from the programme with distinction, talked about her experience while studying for the Executive MBA and explained how the programmed has helped her in her career.

EMBA Cohort 18, starting this year in Thessaloniki comprises high profile participants coming from top companies and organizations such as: Pyramis Mettalourgia SA, Knauff, Bioanalytica SA, Marfin Egnatia Bank, Probank, Pro Credit Bank, Tutunska Banka, Vodafone Albania, Emporiki Bank, Bulgaria and many others.

The induction was followed by the first weekend classes of the course in Thessaloniki with the Unit, ‘Understanding Organisational Behaviour.

The Induction of the MBA programme in Belgrade took place 21-22 of October 2010 at the Guarnerius Center of Arts.

MBA Induction in Belgrade

MBA participants who will start the programme in Belgrade this academic year were warmly welcomed by Mr. Efstathiadis and CITY College’s representatives in Serbia.

The induction included a talk by MBA alumna Ms. Ana Jovanović, Software Engineer at Siemens, who spoke about her MBA experience outlining the benefits she gained from the programme and how it changed her career prospects. The induction in Serbia was also followed by the first unit of the programme.

The Induction of the MBA programme in Bucharest took place 11 November 2010 at Novotel Hotel- Paris Hall.

Mr. George Efstathiadis, Director EXED and MBA Programme and Dr. Leslie Szamosi, Academic Director of the programme warmly welcomed all new MBA students.

The induction included a talk by MBA alumna Ms. Emanuela Modoran, Commercial Strategy Manager Commercial Strategy & Development Department Vodafone Romania. The first EMBA unit in Bucharest took place after the induction induction.

This year’s EMBA student body comprises two groups of students who are managers coming from a variety of industry sectors in Romania.

The Induction in Kyiv is scheduled to take place 18-19 November 2010.
