Thessaloniki – Belgrade – Bucharest

3 countries, 3 cities, 3 induction weekends. MBA’s induction weekends marked the beginning of this academic year and took place in Thessaloniki (17-18/10/2009), Belgrade (31/10-1/11/2009) and Bucharest (7-8/11/2009).

Induction and foundation weekend is on of the most important elements of the MBA programme. It gives CITY the opportunity to welcome new students and offer them the chance to get a first taste of what it means to have weekend classes and what are the different rules and regulations of the college. Also, during the MBA Induction weekend delegates meet with each other, and learn about their backgrounds as well as share future goals.

During this first weekend new delegates were exposed to what academic writing for a MBA means, tips on how to deliver powerful presentations and how to develop and analyze case studies.They spent their time creatively, educationally and at the same time they got a piece of advice from lecturers, college officials as well as representatives of the alumni body.

Ms Erasmia Papadopoulou was the guest speaker in Thessaloniki; She urged students to set goals, deal with things one step at the time, and ask for help and support from their professors, college staff but most importantly from their family and loved ones.

During the Induction at Belgrade Mr Predrag Andic, alumni from cohort 13, talked about his experience, and the path he followed to reach his goals.
