| Free time is quite hard to find due to professional and family responsilities. I do, however, have a favorite hobby which I try to practice whenever time permits: |
| | | magic tricks and illusions |

| Except from the fact that it is very entertaining, magic can also be used as a creative and inspiring motivation technique. I particularly favor street magic, which is a hybrid of close-up and stage magic, and I mostly use everyday items. The types of effects that I usually perform include production, vanishing, transformation, restoration, teleportation, penetration and prediction. Such magic tricks not only seem to motivate students, but also help them to realize a different angle and an innovative approach of tackling and solving problems. Furthermore, properly connected with taught material, magic tricks and sleight of hand can greatly enforce important concepts and principles. |
