Keynotes

 

The keynote speakers this year are Prof. Howard Foster of the Imperial College, London, and Dr. Marlon Vieira of Siemens Corporate Research. 

Howard Foster is a Research Fellow with the Department of Computing,  Imperial College London.  His research interests include services,  compositions, choreography and model-based verification and validation  techniques.  He is also actively working in the area of software  self-management and behavioural synthesis of software components.  He  has a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London and has over  10 years industrial experience as an IT consultant for leading Business  and IT Professional Service organizations.

Marlon Vieira is a Program Manager at Siemens Corporate Research (Princeton, NJ) and regional leader for Siemens Corporate Technology on Software Development Technologies. His responsibilities include defining research topics and elaborating plans for introducing software technologies at Siemens Operating Companies. Marlon as been working with software engineering for more than 15 years, most of them with system/software verification & validation. Marlon holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine. He has more than 35 scientific publications and 5 patents.
